So Nicholas had enlisted. I see him off and I’m actually happy because I know that he is gonna have one of his best memories in the army. y’know brotherhood and stuffs. I’m now familar with the stuff he does in Tekong. It looks quite fun seriously. Like obstructions and outfield. They are going to play games like captain ball too. And I can assure myself that he is safe inside. I always thought Tekong is just some offshore island without good facilities and the poor recruits are going sleep in the tent or something. But they have their own cupboard, own bed (which is actually quite thick), sponsored personal items like boots, duffer bag, uniforms, shaver, toothpaste etc. Life is not that hard because things goes progressively. He has friends that enlisted with him. Not very close but still better than none right? Oh yeah we can write him letters. (: Waiting for him to text me to call him at 9.30pm. I thought I’m going to cry today when i bid goodbye with him but having know Basic Military Training better, I’m so assured so I didn’t cry. Win. He is going to book out on 17th feb which is like 17 days from now. This is probably the longest period of time he had to stay inside. After these 17 days, he can book out every week. It’s going to be easy for us because we had tried not meeting for more than 10 days, relying solely on texts during the stupid disgusting period called A’s. And he is going to pass out on 8th April with his friends like ZG etc. I know he will be a happy boy. LOL.

It really takes courage to step out of one’s comfort zone to fight for things he or she believes in. Everybody is doubting. But you gotta be brave and just ignore because you run your life. Start fighting for things you believe in. Start making dreams true. Start doing things that makes you happy. Start doing things that you always wanted to do. You only live once.

I never ever give up job opportunities. But I actually turned down quite a few good jobs. I feel a bit unjust but being able to spend more time with you makes everything worthy. It’s more than monetary value. It’s more than money. I just wanna spend these days well with you. I’m so afraid that I will miss you too much, disturb you when you are busy, troubled you with my moodswings, worry too much for your safety.

Be strong and have faith. We will make it through.

Taking up 2 jobs per day

The morning job is basically slacking

But it’s a lonely job

F dropped by to slack with me

Spent on clothing while getting paid

Tuition went well

I love teaching

I hope she understands

Life now is like money money money

Adult fare sucks

Topping up every 3 days

19 days to <3's enlistment

Glad that we are able to meet up at least 3 times per week despite my busy week

He is gonna meet my secondary school’s best friends this friday

I hope my friends like him

Gonna go back to Amara this saturday

Hope things still stay the same

Gonna spend the remaining 19 days well with <3

2012 had been great so far. Great heart to heart talk with C and Nick, got to play the tenor sax before I leave band, girls day out with my classmates, accompany my little brother to SP for open house, got a really temporary and simple job that fits in my schedule, got a tuition job that pays me well enough as a first timer, got offered another tuition job in kovan. Ah it’s just too good to be true.
